Information For Booking

Information Needed for Booking

When you book a hotel you have to have a lot of information regarding that reservation.  For instance, what is the cancellation policy, are there any loop holes to the policy and can you make changes after you have booked?  There is, of course, more information you need to book the hotel.  Does the website offer you a good description of the place, is the information online accurate?  You can book a deal and hold a reservation for twenty four hours.  This means you have that period of time to get all of your questions asked and make sure that you are getting the best deal and the safest place.  Here is an example:

I booked a hotel online, but didn’t research it.  I was booked in a low rent district, with a hotel that was run by someone who did not speak English.  The hotel pretty much had the top award for roach hotel and I was being charged $80 a night.  Down the road in a better neighbourhood, and for twenty dollars more I could have a roach free hotel.  See, sometimes a deal is not what it is advertised to be and research is always needed.  Had I called the hotel directly I would have found out that my questions couldn’t be answered, and this probably meant that the hotel was not the best to stay at.  On the other hand I could have found the person spoke perfect English and they were not very truthful.  Researching both on the web as well as calling will usually find you the answers you need.
